There are a few things I have to say about it. If you liked the last half hour of the first one then you’ll definately like this one because its basically that stretched into 2 and a half hours. There are probably about 10-15min where there isn’t action. Yes, I did say 2 and a half hours, this movie is long. Michael Bay must have been on speed during the taping because that is what it feels like. Sexy Decepticon. You’ll see what I mean. Meghan Fox is even hotter (if that was possible) in this movie. Lots of slow motion cleavage. And fixing choppers. Also hot. Speaking of slow motion. More bullet time that even the Wachowski brothers thought was necessary. Shia LeBouef still needs to work on his acting skills. Last minute addition to the audio dialogue in the movie, they make a reference to the Swine Flu. Cybertron. Audi R8, Corvette Concept, Motorcycles, SR71 Blackbird. Less cheesy lines by the Autobots, thank god. Pray to GOD we never get attacked by robot aliens, the US military gets RAPED. Again. And our government is retarded. This movie is more racist against black people than the first one. Like about as many sterotypical refrences as a season of the Chappelle show. Like the third Pirates movie, the story deals a lot with the politics and history of that universe. Worst pre-title sequence ever. 5 times the crude humor than the first one. Speaking of crude humor. Decepticon balls. Decepticles. more Linkin Park. And Green Day… *sigh* Did I mention Meghan Fox-y-ness? *sniff* *sniff* is that a trilogy I smell? All that said, I had a FUCKING BLAST! I almost OD’d on testosterone and 80s cartoon nostalgia. If you remotely liked the first one then you’ll LOVE the second one. I’m not saying perfect, but if you want to just switch your mind off, turn on your 11 year old, explosion and robot loving brain and sit back and relax then you’re gonna have a good time. Just a fun summer action movie… you know… OTHER THAN Star Trek of course. Did anyone else see it? What did you think?
